4th Annual Gary Mahoney Memorial Debate

June 7, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

‘A Green and Fair City Region – How will we make it happen?’

Our City Regions face urgent environmental and social challenges in the coming years – from cleaning up our air to radically reducing greenhouse gas emissions. With devolved powers including planning and transport, city regions can be at the forefront of environmental solutions.

Join the Mayor of Liverpool City Region, Steve Rotheram and Friends of the Earth’s CEO Craig Bennett, to debate ‘A Green and Fair City Region – How will we make it happen?’ at the fourth annual Gary Mahoney Debate, at the Britannia Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool, Thursday 7 June 2018 7.30pm.

This debate is held in tribute to Gary Mahoney, an internationally renowned air quality expert and former Co-ordinator of Liverpool Friends of the Earth. The event honours the irreplaceable contributions of Gary’s tireless work for environmental and social justice.
